Ok a real post since I've got nada but time today.

Had an audition today with an Extra Casting Company (and yes the name is escaping me right now but that's ok lol) They said I was the best of the day and that I could totally handle doing an entire scene. So that either means I did really awesome or everyone sucked ass which either way cool for me and better than I had anticipated. When I called this morning I thought I'd just go in and they'd look at me and go yeah we got stuff for you or no we don't gtfo. Didn't really expect to be reading anything. I've never done any sort of speaking role but I figured I could handle walking in the background of some shit. Needless to say it's actually kinda fun. I get a bit scatter brained when it comes to performing. Horror movies have always been amusing... Sci-fi I think would be a bit more challenging in the acting department for me... (more weird things to remember that dont' really exist and some that do) But frankly running around covered in blood shouting cheesy shit would be das uber fun I think. I may be getting such a chance over the weekend provided all the info is sent to me in time. *twiddles fingers* If not I guess I'll uh.... find something else less interesting to do with my time. At least I'll have money sorta. A mediocre pay day off two days (not full days) of work over the course of 2 weeks. I feel like I've had my hair "normal" for no reason. I mean currently it's all poofy and shit which I like. (I liked it better before every black girl wanted to do it so ghetto ppl would just look at me crazy and not talk to me which made me quite pleased but now it's "hip" ugh)

I would really love big giant blue twists. Some light blue, some dark... all over my head making it weigh 50 pounds heavier but looking oh so candy like and bringing a giant smile to my cheesy face.

Anywho back to the casting thing... I was told they're casting for a bunch of things and no mention of fees of any sort so there's a good chance I haven't been scammed to death (cause they shouldn't be asking for money upfront/I don't have money so joke be on dem huh?) Hopefully this will fill in the numerous gaps in my schedule. I rather hate being idle and I've been finding "busy" work and I want shit that's stimulating and well money making...

Alright I sold 3 prints

I'm surprised. I've had a Deviant Art for a while but never sold anything before (well ya know under the old name and I guess this one I've only had for a short while) Thanks to whomever that was who bought the prints. I hope they bring you joy and awesomeness and all that good stuffs :D

Other than this... I plan to attempt hair fixings again and hope that it ends up looking the way I want. I'm not sure it's possible. The last time I straightened my hair months ago it came out nicely though... I guess I should've used the same brand of texturizer and left it in longer. Part of me wants to cut my hair and start over again. This would be my third attempt at having natural hair. It just sucks b/c I get it and it gets to a point to where I'm not really sure what the hell to do with it. I know there's natural hair blogs and products but... I dunno I still get kinda meh since I get bored very easily with my hair and not being able to change it often kind puts me in a hair slump. Lately the issue is working and them not wanting me to have fun colors so my hair has been feeling boring lately. They did say in October they wouldn't care though I haven't really worked with the public for the past month so technically I totally could've had green hair ;) Oh well...

Guess I can always wear wigs again but it's far too hot for them... feels like the end of summer is hotter than summer in it's entirety.

how the rest of the week is shaping up!

As of now I'm free every day except Sunday the 28th... I'll be attending Joylyn's Birthday Event and I'm still booking 1 on 1's for that if you would like to book those in advance.  So if you're looking to book something for this or otherwise, feel free to do so over Model Mayhem or Deviant Art. I think today I'll work on my hair for a few hours perhaps to give me something to do. I'm wondering if I totally could've had green hair all month and if it would've mattered considering I've just been doing cleaning work for uh le' day job so far. I'm really bored of having normal dull colored hair... so very bored of it. I want pinks' and blue's and purples too!!! *sigh*

I'm being careful money wise (since I really haven't been terribly careful a month ago and the purchase of this computer pretty much depleted my surplus. (I get worried when my bank account gets under a certain amount.) I'm thinking by next pay check it should be back to normal and hmm I dunno I should still take it easy. I feel like I'm at the time of year where sleep has become more important. I've been so tired lately. So a peaceful hanging out is really appreciated (especially where I can get some shut eye)

I can't get MAME to work!! That blows... my ps1 emu is also being retarded. I wonder if I should go back to the inital emulator that I wanted to use because it's the only one where the video actually loaded (though it ran quickly) and begin the google work to well get it running at the proper speeds. Part of me feels semi-lazy on that front knowing that I'll need at least a couple of hours of net time and patience which I dunno I could spend doing something productive or playing other games... reading?

PS: random weight loss from not really exercising is hmmm weird. I dunno most people look at it as yay you lost 11 pounds woot woot... (though it is alarming to think that soda adds that much weight to a person) I dunno so far I haven't lost any boobage or buttage and I like my big ass thighs... I just don't want to become a string bean... Maybe I should half ass exercise so everything can keep it's shape (though even when I was 115 pounds I still had a curvy shape... hmmm still too skinny for my taste)

A new video has entered the ring!!

Other than that yesterdays "workshop" with MXD went well but wasn't what I expected. For some reason I was expecting it to be similar to regular group shoots with a bunch of things going on at once. This was much slower paced which is cool I guess and no time allotted for one-on-one's either. One tip for anyone thinking of getting into photography with models... do learn to relax and talk to the person you're shooting. If you can't make a bit of small talk and give direction/some positive words here and there to make sure the model knows they're doing the right thing (and also establishing more comfort)... this can make for an awkward shoot especially with a beginning model who doesn't know what she's doing and probably thinks everything she's doing sucks lol Just a suggestion.

I would also say not to say certain things to a person you're meeting for the first time until you've gauged out what's ok and what isn't. Ya never really know what can be offensive to people and not everyone will speak up about it so watch your tongue in professional settings.

To the man who I met last night who reads my blogs... ok me saying "I know no one reads my blogs" it's a lie. I know a few ppl do... I've gotten a few gigs this way and other people have mentioned coming across it. etc... I just want to say that some of the things you said weren't appropriate and leave it at that. One thing I will say that you should never say to any black or ethnic person ever is anything resembling "you speak well for insert random race, almost like a white girl etc." it's offensive as fuck... srsly don't say that shit.  I don't think you will grasp how irritating that is b/c you will never have to put yourself in a minorities position but try to understand. What am I supposed to sound like? Ghetto cause I'm from the ghetto? Just b/c someone is born and raised in it... well let's just say everyone here isn't a cess pool of idiocracy. Most ppl are just trying to get along and leave others alone. A small percentage cause trouble and that's not usually a problem if one knows how to conduct oneself and leaves those people alone.

I just hate stereotyping and backhanded compliments.... and anything pertaining to my personal life (IE: who I'm sleeping with) is no body's business... I'm not seeking advice, support or anything in my personal matters and as such I've stopped writing about them here... don't ask me or hint at anything of the such with me.

And no I don't know what I wrote 2 days ago... I don't go and re-read wth is here... who the hell does that?

Just got a few pics from Display Mode Media! (I posted one bellow teehee!) Very awesome photog to work with. Friendly... chill and not creepy which are good things for a photog to be yes?

Other stuffs I did this week... Another Group shoot which I'm patiently awaiting pictures from. I hope to be included in next month's event with them. Met some wonderful photogs and some lovely ladies. Lots of smiles and fun!! I'd put up a pic but.... alas I haven't received our big group photo just yet... When I get it I'll upload it.

Went to the BDSM Pride day awards last night and also met some really cool folks. Ate pizza and hells bells might be getting to do a suspension as a result (which I'm giddy about after seeing his work and enthusiasm about rope.) Who is HE?? Well Charly B (who I can't figure out how to link to at the moment... damn scatter brained-ness making me lose track of profiles!!!) of course!! I've seen him at practically every event that has suspension for the past few years and never imagined actually getting to speak to him. I'd always think... whose that tiny man?? I'm glad he's really kind and awesome and has a spiffy fashion sense :D

Since it would seem that I won't be showering for a while...

occupied :-/ I might as well make an entry. Yesterday had a shoot with Beaver Photography which was super duper fun. Even though it got dark and super cold really fast, I had a really good time and I like the end result. His buddy Derek Digital was there for witty banter and did my eye shadow. I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I totally forgot to do my foundation so I hope that doesn't make for more work :( 

I got a real people job that I'm starting today! Hopefully I won't totally suck at it and can move out of this place w/ some random creepy cool person. What this does mean though is that I'll mainly be free during the weekdays for shooting.

I may have booked a shoot for Friday but we seem to be in the planning stages ( hopefully this will be set before I head out for work other wise it'll have to wait until nightfall or early tomorrow morning?)

I'm sleepy but I wanted to post this before I forgot

Parts modeling open call for tomorrow canceled for me. Apparently it's in an area that I would either have to call a cab for or have a car (which would be dumb to have a random ass car waiting at the end of a bus-line to take me to an agency) This is what google tells me and since it is ultimate overlord of the negaverse I obey. I don't want to end up stranded or lost (like it tends to get me only 5% of the time but still... fucking sucks to be lost w/ a shitty phone w/ no GPS to look up real directions. Human help only gets you more lost... or so it would seem lol)

So As for July I'm free the 11th (if I don't book anything I may opt to change my hair this day though I some what dont' want to either... we'll see how it goes... when things are so short notice it tends to go un booked anyway) 12th I'm free during the day, I could swing the 13th during the day as well depending on where you're located. 14th-16th. 18th -20th. 23rd-29th, and the 31st. (it seems it'd be easier to just put what I AM doing right?? Always going the long way around lol, well fuck it I'll do both lmfao)

To all the folks who admire my work

If you'd like to give back feel free to get anything off of my Wish list. I will def shoot in it if it's bought off of there. I should put more basic items on there.

As you know I'm still trying to re-build wardrobe so any help would be appreciated. On the plus side of things though, my random trek through Downtown LA yielded some fun results. I at the very least know where to get bikini's and under wear things now lol. I hit my spending limit and headed back home after that but I'm sure there's gotta be some decent priced clothing places down there too. If you know of any let me know.

Still haven't recieved the images from last week (bummer). And it's looking like I won't be shooting any this week either... I'm going to start booking for next week this friday... hopefully someone will bite. I applied to a few legit agencies yesterday.... I'm wondering though if I should just walk into one and be like "sup bitches". Well maybe not say exactly those words but to visit one in person so they know I'm not an overly photo-shopped angled mess. The girl on OK Cupid that looked hot in a picture that was angled and another from 10 years ago.... I cease to understand why folks do this especially when you plan on meeting folks. It's like uh.... they're gonna know you're fat so can't you show that you're fat in your damn picture? It's really not that big of a deal. You wouldn't want someone coming to see you whose not into fat chicks right. Like if I put up a bunch of pictures where I look white, all super washed out and the person meets me and finds out and uber dark... There is one thing that tends to happen with my pro pics though. Since I do have a scar on my forehead (tiny little mark) it gets taken off... and the whole crooked eye thing that happens when my eyes are strained (tends to be when I look straight up).

I haven't played breath of fire in 2 days. I should hurry up and help the people of Tantar get their water supply back lol. I've been reading a lot of American Virgin so my RPG time is well not getting love :P

 As some of you may already know... I had a mis-hap w/ my clothing and thus I don't have much to shoot in, cam in or anything else for that matter. As far as camming goes... I'm still not sure what hours I want to do it though in a general sense I'm usually on Myfreecams.com (username: private_siren) 5am - 8am (roughly) on days when I'm insomniac driven. I'm going to see how things go over the next few weeks (normal job wise and w/ this) to see what days work best for me. So far I'm pretty consistent w/ Monday's though so I'll mark that down as one. Sunday... which means...

A NEW VIDEO!! (I apologize for how crappy it is and I'll elaborate a bit more on it's topic. It's pretty early in the morning and I'm only awake now b/c someone woke me up for no reason. I may take a power nap after this actually lol)

So the shoot was w/ Adam Chilson. I saw a few pics straight out of the camera and I'm expecting that they'll be a feast to behold. I thought I'd be more afraid of a few things that I did. (climbing a tire fort thing, shooting fire, holding fire... ) but the fire made me giddy, the fort didn't really scare me at all. There's nothing close to the back heat that comes off back toward you when you're dealing with fire. I can't say that what I hypothesized it being like is close to what it actually is. I got to wear random pieces of leather and cool warrior shit. Since I got there early and the outdoor sets looked better at night I got to shoot inside too... so you have some weird hentai tentacle rape thing to look forward to lol. I'm a little sad that I didn't get to shoot on one of the sets. I really wanted to see it filled with water. I practiced my "stealthy walk" but I guess it wasn't for naught... I'm hoping something will open up again and I could shoot on it before it's torn down  but I'm not counting on it though.

One of the sets might get put on action girls which would be pretty sweet!! I've admired that site from afar (I mean girls with big guns that go boom always equals awesomeness!!) 

I also found out about some event called Wasteland Weekend. I REALLY WANNA GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll see what happens though. I might be used in some of the promo material for it (which would be beyond rad) and a chance to get in free in exchange for walking around in costume (which ultimately solves my lack of costume issue) for a few hours. I see this all as a win win!!

Now to hopefully spend a couple of hours of my day playing breath of fire and applying to some gigs... I go onto kill a giant fucking robot thingy which took me an hour to figure out where it really was. Damn dialog in old rpg's is always so atrocious. Granted this isn't nearly as bad as the first Final Fantasy where 99% of the town would say the same line! I am enjoying the game play though and I do hope to actually finish it this time w/out something weird happening (hard drive randomly exploding lol) I also wanna snag some more neo geo shooters and random obscure shit. Before that I'm getting mark of the wolves cause I'd be pretty awesome if I could not suck so badly at it. The top system amuses me.

Which reminds me (sorry for being scatter brained... I haven't been writing as much as I used to lol) I saw King of Fighters XIII which I had no clue existed. IT WAS GORGEOUS!! If I had money yesterday and wasn't so horribly out of practice w/ KOF I would've played and been beaten horridly but it would've looked really good. Everyone I watched play yesterday appeared to be pretty good and have a good grasp of the game already. (unexpected stop at anime expo for some reason. I think that event has lost it's luster for me. Honestly I'm not really a fan of anime though there are a few that I've enjoyed, much of it is weird, annoying in the style of it and re-used shots which I'm guessing are to save money. Rely too much on flashy colors than a decent story... I'd rather watch something that takes place in America and won't have random things lost in translation, giant eyeballs and hair blowing shots.... ok I'll stop my ranting now)

I'm still not sure if I'll find myself on all the time (well at least I'll be able to check out castings and job search things in the mornings and evenings. OH and chatty chat opportunities woot!)

I've been playing Breath of Fire and I'm stuck on some search for REMEDY for Nina's father. I'm a little disappointed that I'm stuck so early in the game when I flew through the first 2 dungeons (one while on the bus getting stared at because I had this laptop out and a bunch of cords... oh my little lappy tends to look like it's on life support quite often lol) I could look up a walk-through but I don't wanna do that (even though I've passed this part previously I still wanna re-figure it out. Guess I'm missing something. I might just head back to the castle and see what happens.

I'm wondering about starting a pic of the day type thing.... though I dunno how dedicated I'd want to be to that everyday. Maybe a pic of the week? Shit I dunno It may just be a here's a pic of the day when I feel like it and when the net isn't turned off over petty crap thing? LOL

In general though my mood is pretty good. I'm looking forward to tomorrows shoot w/ Adam Chilson. I'm hoping not to set myself on fire or those that I love but looking at the pics from previous shoots these should be... really super duper pretty/awesome :)

That means another video blog! Like what! I'm running out of these things actually lol I should probably start getting the questions from formspring (when I do get them) and make videos out of those? Well we'll see. lol.

I'm mildly hungover. I haven't felt this way since January or so. I'd be lying though if I said drinking wasn't fun and didn't have certain advantages especially in akward situations. Not to say that yesterday was even close to as strange as I expected. My nervous skepticism kinda flushed away after a few moments... things aren't always as they seem. All in all I had a good time. BTW as far as shooting goes... I'm free all next week (save thursday evening.) I'll be doing my first figure drawing class so woot woot on that! Which also reminds me... I still have papers to print/send in lol.

Booking shoots May 16- 22nd

This week is all booked up woot woot. Looking forward to having fun this weekend and to shooting w/ lightbrite and 3 new photogs!! (Adan, Art N flesh magazine (I'd link but MM is being really fussy w/ me today yay 504 errors) and Tavo).

Starting to book for the next week. I'm currently booking for May 16th - 22nd.

I'm also hoping to have some time to go goodwill and arts n crafts shopping. I haven't had a chance to make anything new in a long while. Would love to destroy some t-shirts, make a dress and altogether gather up some newish things together.

Bang Bang Shooting Shooting

First shoot of the week... w/ Lightbrite. Always fun to work w/. Was different shooting during the day light hours since he normally does light painting. I think we'll be doing more of that soon and hopefully some other projects in the near future.

Shoot w/ Renfro Photography (Please oh please let me have spelled that right!!) Very fun, Very professional... awesome person who I hope to get to hang out w/ in general more often. I hope I r have made a new buddy... was nice to FINALLY meet you in person. You're much taller than I expected for some reason lol. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos and thank you very much for the laughs and birthday ice cream!! Get your port up already so I know what to link to when we shoot again!!! LOL!! DO EEEET!!!

My last and certainly most challenging shoot of this week w/ Moonstix . I'm amazed how this came out considering how freaked out over the bugs in this area I got. The first location it wasn't so bad hahaha but here they just wouldn't let up :(  I'm amazed at how this almost looks like frick green screen to me... that area was very beautiful and a total adventure to find. (since our original planned location was covered w/ water lol) Always great seeing you... can't wait to hang out again!!!

WOOT WOOT 3 shoots in one week!! Don't think I've ever done that before. LOL Now that I've acknowledged it I probably won't have another in a while (Let's not let that happen!!!)

I'm booking shoots for next week as I type this!! (May 9th -15th) If you'd like to book something further into the future I can handle that too though I don't like to plan that far ahead on a regular basis as one never knows what's going to be coming up and such.

What a week

It seems like that time of year where I feel like what other cluster fuckage will arise from the garbage to kick me in the ass. I've been through this enough times to know that it will pass as all things do. Just wish I was a rich person (though I'm sure many of you probably do).

At any rate I've had 2 shoots this week... awaiting the many awesome pictures to update Deviant Art, Model Mayhem and Tumblr with...I have another shoot w/ Moonstix today which should prove to be very fun and yield awesome beautiful results. Plus he's just really cool to be around. I predict the ride will be long and hot but well worth the trip.

I'm booking shoots for next week (may 9th - 12th) I'll spend a few days looking for a more suitable (closer) job... and in the mean time be on my hustle game (woot woot ugh) lol...

Also got some mysterious package in the mail, guessing it's a birthday gift from an anonymous someone... I'd like to say thanks but 1 it's half creepy that someone sent me that gift in the mail w/ no name on the package and 2 how do you know my name? So my guess would be I'd have to know you in some capacity (though if I know you why would you send something anonymously :-/) My hope is to have a place soon so I can get whatever mail I want and not have to worry about folks taking it the wrong way... I have many thoughts but all are moot at this point... Just means that I need to not be here any longer than need be as I've already been here too long anyway...

They're just as dumb as the first titanic only not as spiffy looking, on a shitter looking ship... Why did I put this movie on? I knew it was gonna be horrid... lol I'm too tired to get up and turn it off.

At any rate... Hoooooooooray for surviving the work week. Looking forward to shooting tomorrow. Hopefully another shoot w/ Moonstix will be in the works... if not next week the week after (seems like they're not giving me any days that week so it might be the best bet.)

On the way home I was like totally need to go out tonight and dance... now that I'm home and settled I don't feel much like moving so I'll probably enjoy a quiet evening watching awful movies until my bad movie loving heart is content. (oh god how could they repeat the same mistakes of the first titanic? Who directed this?)

uh.... any who... I'm available for shooting April 24th and 26th. (though I'm doubting many folks will want to shoot on Easter... I looked, not much going on lol) Also free May 1st through the 5th (which seems like they're not giving me days this week... I hope they don't pull a shit move and make me work on my birthday though... it's that Saturday. YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GET ME STUFF FROM MY GIFT LIST... ok you're probably not gonna do that but at least look at all the weird shit I want. (though I think the stuff from the universal list doesn't show up on my regular list unless I'm looking at it but I'm not 100% sure of that)

Other than that life is going alright. Nicely tired working on my ppl skills lol. I can tell I've grown by thinking of my demeanor from my first job. If I encountered an angry person several years ago I'd be pissed off the rest of the day. It would really get to me even if it was the half ass snooty angry that some folks get but not so much threatening. Now I'm just like meh.... I'm here for x amount of hours and if you wanna be upset you do that but YOU paid to be here....so it seems like a waste of money. Plus ppl piss you off and then don't think about it 2 mins later or are quick to anger w/out really thinking about the situation. I never sweat the tiny inconveniences. Hell now a days I don't even care that much about say someone stands me up or doesn't check in like they used to...  I think of it as... Fuck it... wanna be involved in my life cool, if not more time for me to make some money/rest/spend time w/ folks who wanna be there. No sense in giving a fuck about ppl who don't think about you right? Even if they do if they don't have the nut sackage to show their real feelings. If they're passive aggressive save facers... then they're retarded and no one needs that kind of bullshit as an adult. (if you think this is about you it isn't... just a general feeling though we may have something to talk about if you're feeling that way... so speak up if ya do or remain a bitch... well I don't care but it'd make you less of a lame ass if you say something when things r bothering you, I promise I don't bite... the unwilling ;) )))))

I think I'm at a point w/ friendships to where I'm enjoying not having a shit load of close friends. I'm for sure not ready to handle anyone's baggage but that of my relationship and my own mental problems at the moment. (not to say my relationship has much... it's actually going very well.)

I'm sure before I know it I'll be ready for a friendship, a close one... it'll come w/out much effort as they have in the past... if it doesn't (though I know it will) I'm fine w/ that too... shit has a way of falling into line when it needs to.

Looking forward to shooting Saturday. At least it's a late shoot so I won't be terribly tired. I might even have enough energy afterward to cut a nice rug (though that will depend if I have a shoot Sunday/how early it is... I may just head in early and catch up on some sleep.)

As far as all else goes...work is tiring. I haven't been so sore in a long while. I mean I've been "good" sore but this kind of sore is not so pleasurable. Birthday coming up on the 7th. I was super excited about it 2 months ago and now my excitement has kinda trickled down into some menial puddle. Don't really have any plans... hopefully I can treat myself to a gift and enjoy a nice quiet day/evening... I'm not really expecting much though. Last year was really nice but I suppose everyone is in a different place now. I'll probably never have that kind of birthday again.

Still updating Deviant Art w/ new and old works. (It's a slow process) If I haven't thanked you yet... I apologize. I've been lacking in the energy department lately.

I wish I still had the energy of a ten year old and that short of an attention span. Days sure felt longer back then haha.
